Yes, that was definantly a migraine. I get them and are followed by doctors. I went what you went through so they put me on a daily medication called Kepra. I'm on 3000 mg a day and get about 1-2 headaches month now! They are difinantly heridiery. My dad gets them and so does my cousin who is actually my age. They can also reoccure. If it does within 24 hours of it going away, its the same headache. I find that alleve or motrin work well along with lots of water or gatorade-gatorade for the electrolytes. (Which helps headaches) also sodium -chips pretzels saltines- can help. These headaches aren't fun, but atleasy 90 percent of americas popultaion get atleast one once. Feel better! Keep me posted!

Carpenter ants in my back yard?

I have a Trex deck along with a wood fence in my back yard. The Trex deck is close enough to the ground that there is no way to get underneath it. The last few weeks I have been seeing black ants (larger than sugar ants) crawling along the fence and sometimes on the deck. I am assuming they are carpenter ants? I cant see any type of ant hill or nest that they are going to. (There is a large, open field on the other side of the fence. ) I am worried they are eating the fence or the decking supports, and that they will make their way to my house. Since I cant see where they are coming from or going to, I have no idea what I can do to get rid of them. Any suggestions would be helpful. (Also, I own a dog so any poison ideas have to be safe for pets)

Neighbors apartment is infested with carpenter ants now their coming into our house?

Does it bother you that all people who take narcotic pain meds seem to be vilified?

I use narcotic pain meds to treat the pain from herniated discs in my neck from an auto accident (not my fault) 5 yrs ago. I have numbness in my arm and have a horrible time sleeping unless I take a muscle relaxer, because of the extreme stiffness I get in the muscles between my shoulder blades. The stiffness causes horrible headaches that can be incapacitating. I don't like to take them and although prescribed more, only try to take them when I can't function with the level of pain anymore. The problem is that with the authorities jumping on the anti-pain med bandwagon, finding a "real" doctor who will prescribe them is very difficult. If a tylenol or advil helped I certainly wouldn't waste the money going to a doctor, or put myself through the pain of getting numbing injections directly into the back of my neck. I last went to a board certified anesthesiologist last year when I had medical coverage. I signed an agreement not to go and doctor shop for more pain meds, and I have followed this. People look at you and think you are a druggie if they find out you take narcotics. A lot of doctors won't prescribe at all due to liability. I personally think it is BS. My pain is real, but because of some bad apples, I have to jump through hoops to get the meds. Same thing with cold medicine from the pharmacist. I'm out of luck if I want to use bath salts in my bath water. There are those people out there that will find a negative use for just about anything out there. There was a professor who changed a reciprocating saw into a sex toy. Maybe now we need to ban those tools, or require ID's every time a carpenter needs to buy it. Maybe we should license it. An urn of ashes was stolen in a robbery because the idiots thought it was coke. Maybe cremation should be banned too. I think that pain is not understood by those that don't live with it every day. Your mom has no business taking and keeping your card. I hold on to my kids cards but when they ask for it I give it to them and we check the balances together. I will only ask for money for groceries and thats just milk and eggs. I would never abuse that and it seems like they are. You are entitled under the law to reuqest that they put that money back. You can also get the address on the back of the card and ask them to send you a statement listing all fhe bills on it to see if they are going overboard. But they should be asking you and telling you. They should not be just taking it whenever they want. That is abuse. Like I said get a copy of your statements and if your mom baby sits she needs to save her money. If your dad has a business he needs to manage his finances. Please help me! Rat tail skin fell off?

I was holding one of my female rats by her tail to give her a bath. She spun around, then about an inch of skin on her tail fell off and she dropped into the bath. Her tail looks like a white string, and it was bleeding every where. I put her in a separate cage (I have two five foot cages, six boys and eleven girls.Pet shop owner accidentally said two girls two boys, it was actually three boys and one girl...) And she kept crying her little rat cry, and trying to eat her tail off. It looked horribly painful, and every time she moved she screamed. I know lizard's tails fall off if they feel threatened, but is this normal with a rat? She has completely stopped eating and drinks a lot. I put band-aids and neosporene on the tip of her tail and i am observing her every day. (it has been 2 days). When i put her back in the cage she wouldn't even eat with her sisters. :( I am very worried about my rat. Right now she is sitting on my shoulder asleep, but everytime you go near her, she cries and licks you, like crazy. PLEASE HELP ME. Laminates for Wardrobes?

Can someone tell me how do I know what thickness of laminates is ideal for wardrobes - inside and outside. My carpenter tells me 0.8mm for inside is good as there will be no bubbles formed when gluing the sheet to the board.. but the plywood store man advises 0.7mm is enough for insides.. Earlier today, I was in church. It was the end of the ceremony, and we were finishing up with a prayer. As we all prayed (about 2,000 people) so it was one person presiding, but anyways, during the prayer my eye's were closed, and while I was listening. I felt my butt hit a concrete sidewalk. I opened my eye's and I was physically somewhere else. I was sitting on the side walk next to a very tall tan sky scraper, and there were two people playing around, which in the instance I got the notion that they were my friends and they were about five feet away from where i was sitting. One of the kids was an African-American, and the other Asian-American, both looked about early 20's. I am only 15 right now. But I when I was there I felt the warmth of the sun and the drift of the wind. I could feel the concrete under my but and heels. The two kids mentioned before, the black one took the asian ones' hat and the asian was jumping and trying to get it back. they were just playing around and laughing. they both spoke english. and dressed how I do now. The african was wearing a backpack. and I noticed that we were in a big city. nobody else was there and I didn'tt talk to anyone. I had this overwhelming feeling of suprise so i didn't say anything, but the experience only lasted about 5 seconds this is all i remember. But I would like to know if anyone knows what this means. thank you, and I wanted to remind you that i WAS physically there It was not a dream and it didnt feel anything like it. P.S. when I came back to the prayer and into my same seat. I had the feeling of being moved, i was not moving but i was being moved back into my seat.

Okay this is sad and I've been told by many people but I am horribly afraid of bugs. Any type of bug I'm afaid of it. However, I'm afraid of them the most when they're in my house or room. Anyone want to try to help with my carpenter ant problem?

Ever morning around 5:00 - 7:00 A.M. there are a ton of Carpenter Ants stuck between my windows in the window seal. I know there probably nesting in my walls and I'm working on getting some stuff to kill them out. But I was just wondering what would happen if I left inner window closed and the outer window opened. Would they eventually leave there highly probably nest in my walls to go outside? Should I just leave both windows closed and kind of lock them in between the windows? I won't accept the Lady Gaga answer of "I was born this way", if homosexuals are born this way, why? Maybe some are born with it, and maybe others develop it later in life, I don't know, I'm completely in the blank on the issue. Honestly, I doubt there is anybody who really understands what it is. The thing that confuses me about homosexuality is its place in the world from an evolutionary perspective. I know homosexuality has been observed in several species, but if a species adapts over time to increase its likelihood of reproducing (some of those adaptations being quite subtle) why would so many individuals outright reject reproduction altogether, and mate with the same sex? Isn't that counterproductive to the biological purpose of life? I'm not trying to argue against homosexuality, I'm just writing down my thoughts and hoping someone can enlighten me. I know it is frowned upon to suggest that homosexuality could be a disorder, but if it is natural, as the gay rights groups suggest, what is its evolutionary role?

Last week on Friday, I ordered a limited edition Johnny Cupcakes shirt, online. On the site, I requested it to be shipped to my P.O. My puppy won't stand up and is lethargic... what's going on?

My puppy is 10 months old and he is pretty active. However, just this evening, he started acting very odd. He looked rather depressed, despite the fact that all day today he was happy. He couldn't climb up the stairs, where he was perched on the middle step. He wouldn't stand up when we interacted with him, and when we helped him up, he could barely stand properly on his back legs. He didn't yelp, whine, or act aggressive in any way. He had his tail between his legs but he could stand on his own. He refused to walk or go outside, and as soon as he was up, he lay back down, acting depressed again. We felt his tummy, looked at his gums, and felt the rest of his body for any other signs of trauma or swelling. His muscles around his abdomen and leg area were somewhat tense, which caused us to look at signs of bloat. He does not seem to have that. In fact, he seemed to have a good appetite, eating his food and drinking some water. We suspect that he has a muscle injury, but we are unsure, as he does not act as if he is in pain, other than the fact that he looks very depressed with his tail between his legs. He will not straighten his hind legs all the way when we massage the seemingly injured area. Is this a muscle injury, or is it something else? Should he be taken to the veterinarian, or just observed and rested for awhile?

Alright, here's the deal. I went to a soccer game with a friend and during that game I met a really lovely guy. It is good you think critically and hell this proves you're gonna be ok. You know what you want and who you are, the majority of the population has no clue what they really want or who they are. You're still in high school so your parents are trying to get the last push to make you who they want you to be before you truly grow up. You just gotta tell em straight up and they won't like it at first - may be a rough couple days but in the long run it's so much better. My understanding about the uncertainty principle is that it is derived from a thought experiment in which a particle is used to "see" another. The other day my mom got a notice on her door saying that pest control will be coming in this friday to spray it also said it was mandatory. We moved into an apartment complex in Beachwood Ohio. I went there to see the apartment two weeks ago and everything looked good and decided to move in. After moving in during the night I was hearing some sound (like an air condition is on - bigger than air condition sound) and couldn't sleep whole night. I tried seeing if our air condition is on and if that's causing sound. Everything was off. Apparently there is some other sound coming from outside. Couldn't sleep whole night until it was off sometime in the morning at 5am or so. Next day morning I tried observing and found that its from the outside went which is from the air condition for the entire floor. Its right outside my apartment. When I called and told to apartment complex, they said they cant do anything about it as the floor needs air conditioning. But I asked them why didnt they tell me when I came here to rent an apartment and I cannot sleep at all even if there is a small sound. They are trying to offer that they will stop it during the night and sometimes they are turning it off, sometimes they are not. Its been really annoying with this sound and I dont have good sleep at all for last 4,5 days. Which department I should file complaint with and how to go about it.

Our ozone layer is shrinking, so that causes abrupt weather/temperature changes and natural disasters. And, the carbon dioxide is harmful to us, humans. Pollution from factories and automobiles. And the way how we deal with our trash at daily basis. Not only we are destroying ourselves, we are destroying other living things around us. This issue sometimes makes me angry because it seems like no one is doing a thing! They will mention about it like how it is such a big problem and how we need to fix it... but no one is doing a darn thing! I don't see any way how we are helping and caring for the planet we live and survive in.

I don't know, but you could try holding out some of the shorter sentences while you say it in your head.... But all I have to say in general is that it was terrific! Buying a Fannie Mae home that has been vandalized?

I'm currently looking to possibly purchase a Fannie Mae home that has recently been vandalized. Before the vandalism took place the home was priced at $122900. How much would that decrease the value of the house? The Real Estate agent is having the damage $ figured by a plumber. I asked about a carpenter to replace the wall/ceiling where it had also been damaged during the vandalism. He said it was possible. How much (in %) of a list price should I be offering on a Fannie Mae home like this? I realize that a Fannie Mae home is often "as is where is" but there are certain concessions that can be made. However I also have to replace the old carpeting with new flooring, reface kitchen cabinets and counters, tub & tile too and buy appliances (which it does not have). I want to come in with a final and best offer with the request that the house be repaired to its previous state (before the vandalism took place). I really like the house but am greatly dissapointed where Fannie Mae only keeps countering back to each counter I have $2000 lower. I have already gotten them to drop $10,000 with counters and with time passing. It's frustrating!! And now with the vandalism just occuring it's just added to my frustration! No one else has bidded on the house. You would think they'd want to get it off their hands to keep from further vandals. The home is 4 br 2 ba, finished basement, inground pool, and 2 car garage. I was watching a bird's nest for a while, there was an American Goldfinch and a Brown-Headed Cowbird in the nest. This nest was a result of brood parasitism, from the Cowbird. The two birds hatched and I began observing them. Already there was a HUGE size difference between the two babies. Anyways, three days after they hatched, and went to go check on them. The nest was empty (and destroyed). On the ground was the two baby birds. I immediately took the baby birds inside, and put them in my brooder/incubator. The Cowbird was eating perfectly and growing. The American Goldfinch was not healthy. Before I could take him to a rehabber, he died (two days after I took him in). Now I have been handfeeding the cowbird for almost a week, and starting to wean him. I am experienced bird keeper... So he is in the best of care. I have some other birds, and they are now bonded with him as well! I am just wondering, is it legal to keep a Brown-Headed Cowbird as a pet (because of the brood parasitism, many people are prejudiced against them... and even kill them! Is the gov't more lenient about permits with these birds?) If I needed a permit, in Canada, which one would I get? Thanks in advance!

So I am currently in university, I am a guy and I just graduated from high school a year ago. It was a big leap in life for me as I think I haved accomplished another feat in life. I describe myself in high school as a 'monophobic' or having a fear of being alone, but not in a severe way. I always have a people or a group with me in high school. I consider myself as a 'follower' of a group not a leader or the one who starts a conversation I sometimes find it hard where to butt in on a conversation so sometimes I feel like I am dumbfounded on some situations. One of my problem is can you give me advice on how to properly act on a group conversation and how to make my opinions stand out. Another is, I have this friend now in university I find it hard now to cope up with him. At first in university the first time we met and the first few weeks we mostly agree on things, interest and experiences in life but as these past few days I kinda observe that he is dodging places with me or distancing himself from me. I wanna keep him as a friend but I think that I annoy the hell out of him....so what do you think should I still exert effort to patch up things with him or should I just move on and go find another friend?
