Easy question on budgie eggs please? easy 10 points!?

As long as the mother is still sitting on the eggs i think they should still be alive. as for the other hen, she might just like the nest box, if her nose is all crusty looking she is in the mood to mate but if it isn't she's probably just hanging out in there.
