What sort of relationship does a alien share with another?

Personally, i think the greys are like, cooperative telepathic beings. Maybe they are workers for a more advanced alien but i dont think they will have an emotional - friendship relationship. Proabably more just a understanding each other relationship. It is my theory that emotion as we know it wouldnt be universal. Maybe thats why they are interested in us.
