How is refusal to register "gay marriages" a symptom of "big government"?

Makes you wonder if a lib all at the same moment takes a wiff of gas fumes, sticks his hands in a bucket of water, then grabs both positive and negative terminals on a car battery while standing barefoot in a puddle......then at the same time tries to sound like an adult when asking or answering a Y/A post.
